Maslow\u2019s \u2018hierarchy of needs\u2019 posits that we have a range of \u2018needs\u2019 that influence our wellbeing and behaviour, but that we only focus on \u2018higher order\u2019 requirements once our more fundamental needs have been met. We have adapted Maslow\u2019s hierarchy to examine how an organisation\u2019s workspace, management and knowledge environment combine to meet our \u2018workplace needs\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We conclude that organisations need to think about workplace evolution as a journey rather than a destination as they strive to provide the optimum working environment for their people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
